I really like the jar but the lid came all banged up. I needed to use it fairly soon and didn't want to bother with a return and possibly getting one even more damaged. That being said, when I'm willing to pay this much money again for storage...I will get this.Great size, am using to store flour. Hoping it proves to be air tight. Disappointed in the lid, it is cheap and came dented even though it was all packaged very well with no box damage. Must have been mailed defective from the start.Little bit too big for what I needed it for. But found good use for them.Seriously? Shame on you. Resending our a defective product. Like I have tome now to go and return and wait for a new one to be shipped. Very disappointedThe Jars do not have Mason embossed on them as in the description photos instead the word utensils and pictures of spoons etc. I ordered 3 and only received 2! As I hoped, it holds a 2.5 kilo/5.5 lb bag of flour. The only drawback is the lid which is very thin metal. It's difficult to screw on and off, I think because it's slightly warped. Other storage jars I've bought have thicker metal lids with plastic threads inside, which prevents warping. I hope this lid will last and remain usable.I ordered two both lids were dented the box they came in wasn't damaged at all. I've bought a lot of these jars some have dents. I just return them if they are to noticable otherwise i love these jars and will continue to buy them.Not a Mason brand jar as per the ad. The lid is thin and cheap, and probably not air tight. Returning this item.The jar is perfect for the storage of my Keurig coffee pods and looks good sitting on the counter. Took one star off , the lid was bent a little bit during shipping.
