My counter space is limited so I wanted a knife holder that didn't take up as much room as a tilting holder.This does exactly that. The material and design are great.I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because when filled, removing a long knife straight up under a cabinet is a problem. Solved by attaching magnets to 3 sides to hold long knives, handles up. Counter space saved.Small footprint on the counter, but I cannot get it apart to clean inside the unit. The knives I'm putting into the holders must be too top heavy as they flop over. Best suited for 8 inch knives perhaps.Bought it to store two sets of knives and still has space for a few extra single bought knives they come out and can put in with ease love it !My in-laws gifted us with some Cutco knives this past Christmas, but they did not come with a knife block - so my husband and I settled on this minimalistic knife holder.Pros:The color and design fits nicely in our kitchenEasy to cleanCons:Way too lightweight! If you just brush this with your fingertips, it falls overRows of 'slats' or slots are much too close together, resulting in crowded knife storageSlats are not wide enough to accommodate larger knives, cleavers, or serrated/steak knivesToo tall; we wanted to keep this on the countertop, tucked underneath the cupboards. We have to move the whole block forward in order to get a knife out, otherwise, the knife will catch on the bottom of the cupboard (where they're mounted to the wall). And when we move it forward, it tips over.Like that it takes up very little space & holds all my knives. It is a bit light weight & the knives tend to rock backward. I wish the bottom was weighted.Very sturdy & easy to clean! Fits about 15 knives, depending on the sizes. It’s perfect!It's not a bad product but it does need some improvements to the knife holder. However to be honest I would not recommend it. I will likely romovr the top and us it as a candy holder or something like that..Looks good, knives are secure.Llegó mucho antes de lo esperado y se ve de muy buena calidad.
