A little tough to put together. Easier if you just put it together very losely, then tighten it all up at once. Once it is together, it seemed very sturdy, yet lightweight enough to carry to it's destination to the pantry. It fit the spot EXACTLY! The shelves are sturdy and seem to withstand the weight. I like that there are extra holes in case you want to move a shelf. The paint used on the shelves are glossy like it has a protective coat for the paint. I don't see it getting scratched easily. It functions well for tall items and small items are best on top. It stores quite a bit! If you are an organizer, this is a pretty great little shelf. I bought mine in white, since the color didn't matter.
