perfect for my selfI have a smaller drawer where the self bought silverware inserts don't fit. These were perfect for the jobPlastic seems thick and sturdy. Nonslip feet are nice. Bins have a stop at each top outside corner so they can stack--helpful if used to hold parts during a project or flatware at a picnic. I will use them to store something, just not what I had planned. That 3" (7.7 cm) width is the outside top (opening). Inside at the bottom--where one usually places whatever is being stored--is actually just 2-3/16" (5.6 cm) wide: too narrow for even the smallest cat food can. I really don't know why so many bins are so sloped instead of straighter-sided! I need a bin at least 2-1/2" (6.3 cm) wide at the inner bottom. A short, open container that's ≈ 15% narrower at the bottom just holds less--no real consumer benefit I can think of. BTW, inside length is actually 11-3/16" (28.4 cm).I needed to organize my meds and this worked perfectly. They are sturdy and easy to use.Great quality perfect size!!I love these. Only one complaint... the title says 3X9x2... but that’s not the real measurements. The real measurements are given in the details... 3.2x9.8 That 9 if they are going to Round should have been a 10... doh! My bad. I had to return one set because 1 was cracked but it worked out in the end, because I couldn’t fit the 4th set in anyways. My drawer is 19x19... when ordering I thought I could order 4 sets with room to spare! Not so much. Once again my bad... these do not lock together, but I’m prefer that. I used clear sticky pads to hold them in place in my drawer. In one of the pictures you can see my measurements of the drawer. I ended up with 9 and it works great! Now if it only could keep tract of the disappearing teaspoons in my house... :)I bought these for my junk drawer. Nice for organizing mics.items for crafting,sewing, and JUNK!Used these for my medicine cabinet in my bathroom! They work perfect!
